On Sunday 29th January, we competed at the Brass at the Guild Contest, which is held in the Preston Guild Hall. This was not only our first contest of the year, but our first contest after our promotion into the Championship section. We were awarded fourth place overall by adjudicator Michael Fowles,  against a strong field of bands from the North West and Yorkshire. Full results below.
