Longridge Band is an ambitious and committed Championship Section Brass Band.

Longridge Band regularly stages concerts to full houses across Lancashire and the North West. The band also takes part in prestigious regional and national contests and features in high-profile events such as the 2012 Preston Guild. Our concerts are geared to the audience, to music-making and entertainment, under the musical directorship of Mark Peacock, a major figure in the brass band world. Can you imagine a Field Day or Christmas without a band?

BUT

The band incurs many costs throughout the year, and over the past few years these have spiralled. Examples of these include:

  • purchasing new instruments/ instrument repair
  • purchasing new music
  • insurance
  • gas and electricity bills for the bandroom
  • uniforms

Any help is appreciated, and we greatly acknowledge the support of all our sponsors and patrons. Can you help us?

The following are suggested amounts that we are currently looking for:

  • personal patrons from £30 a year
  • business sponsors at £250 a year
  • corporate sponsors to support the band at £1,000 a year

What would you get for your help?
Businesses would be advertised in programmes and as appropriate at events. Their name would appear on tickets, leaflets, ‘flyers’ and other publicity material - as well as the Longridge Band website. We would also arrange links from our website to company sites and exposure through professional media releases. Your name could be highlighted to audiences across the North West. Other benefits throughout the year include newsletters from the band, and free entry to our annual Patrons' concert.
